Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a vibey Vox Super Lynx Deluxe with a cool patina and vintage mojo for days. It features a Vox Vibrola and two single coil Vox pickups that read 5.45k ohm at the neck and 5.8k ohms at the bridge. it yields that signature mid 60's twang on single pickup selection and becomes fuller and chewy with both engaged.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .78"-.86" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a slim C profile. Compound 7.25"-9.5" radius, 25" scale, 6.94 lbs. Freshly strung with D'Adarrio nickel 10-46. The truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and weather checking as pictured. It remains in good playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing with the action at 2 mm on the high E and 1.6 mm on the low E. There is a slight twist in the neck that's hardly noticeable and we've dressed the frets to accommodate this. It plays buzz free at it's current setup but will buzz up in the dusty area on the low side with lower action. The retention pins in the vibrola have been replaced with roll pins like a Bigsby and they are a lot more dependable than the stock straight pins. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the faux leather gig bag in the photos.
