Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to present this wonderful real life reliced 1920s Washburn New Model 10 Parlor guitar.  This beauty came to us with a great story.  Dad bought this as a very young lad and owned it all his life.  There are memories of Dad playing this guitar on Holidays and special occasions.  He onwed a few guitars, but this was his favorite and he certainly cherished it.  When the bridge began to lift, a search for a qualified luthier took a couple months and a half day of driving to get it fixed right.  That same trip to the luthier was made when a crack opened up on the side.  The original Ebony nut still guides the silk and steel strings it had when we first saw it.  The Ebony Fretboard is sublime.  Dad must have had a light touch since there is tons of life left in those frets.  The sound is articulate, yet full and not overwhelming at all. Very well balanced with defined bottom end and beautiful warm clear highs.  Truly a recordable sound.

And she's a player with the action at 3.5mm on the low E, 2.5mm on the high E with plenty of saddle height.  Notes ring clearly with no dead spots. The 1.83" nut width, V carve neck, svelty shape and super light weight let you know you're playing something from a time long before you. 12.5" Lower bout, 9" upper bout, 3.75" deep, and about a 24.5" scale round out the tale of the tape.  Comes with a serviceable chipboard case from the 60's or 70's.
