Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean 1978 Yamaha AE1200 Hollow Body Electric with a Spruce top and the killer Yamaha proprietary AE1200 Humbuckers. These feature a coil split on each tone knob to offer a wide variety of tones through these legendary pickups. The neck reads 7.70k ohms, the bridge is at 7.61k. Comes safely packed in the original hard case with all working latched and hinges.
The nut measures 1.72", neck depth is .84"-1.01" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a Yamaha medium C profile. 25" scale, 14" radius, 7.73 lbs. It received a full deep cleaning, a fret level, crown and polish and needs nothing after it's professional setup. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Freshly strung with D'Adarrio Chromes 11-50 and accurately intonated. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the gig bag in the photos.
