Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1994 Billy Sheehan Attitude Special in rare Thunder Blue and signed by Billy himself. The Attitude line was designed by Billy and the engineers at Yamaha Research and Development. The Attitude Special features a pair of DiMarzio pickups with a 26k ohm Woofer Humbucker in the neck and a 7.6k ohms Will Power in the bridge. Together they offer one of the most versatile pickup combo we've come across in a long time. Billy designed a special brass bridge with a bend in the back to allow a unique resonance. It's very unique and very cool.
The nut measures 1.57", neck depth is .80"-.93" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a fast medium C profile that Billy spec'd. 34" scale, 10" radius, 9.15 lbs. Strung with accurately intonated Thomasik nickel round wound 45-105 strings. Action is set at a very playable 2.0 mm on the low E and 1.7 mm on the high E. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and chips as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the faux leather gig bag in the photos.
