Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare and unique Yamaha FG-B1N Dreadnaught acoustic with a Yamaha Hard case and over $400 of Services and repairs to ensure perfect functionality with no issues. These Bamboo Dreads were made in Taiwan at the Kaoshiung factory in the 90's and into the 2000's. It's a very durable and impressive tonality that's warm and full. The unique Bamboo construction was conceived during the early days of the "sustainable woods" movement and it's very stable. Would make a great camping or beach guitar.
The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .89"-1.00" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a full C carve that's no huge, but fills the hand nicely. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The bridge was removed, lacquer removed, and re-glued. A Custom bone saddle was made and fitted for perfect transmission of tone. The frets have been professionally leveled, dressed, and polished to a high mirror finish. There are very few scratches as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.
