Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a near mint 1978 Yamaha GC-7S by Hiroshi Harada with a solid Cedar top, hang tags and the original sales receipt dated Nov 4, 1978.  Also included is a high spec Yamaha hard case with shoulder strap that could be the original.   No cracks, breaks, or repairs.  This was crafted in Yamaha's Custom Shop and only the best luthiers were employed here.   These are considered Master Crafted instruments that compare very favorably to Ramirez, Sakazo, and Kohno.  In many respects they are better built with higher quality materials.  Incredible package.

Hiroshi Harada was one of Yamaha Custom Shop's most respected and longest tenure Luthiers who gained a reputation for his impeccable build quality and craftsmanship.  This is a perfect example of his work - exactly 47 years old and it plays as good as new.  It features a solid Cedar top and solid Indian Rosewood back and sides.

The nut measures 52mm, neck depth is 22mm - 26mm at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  662 mm scale, 3.71 lbs, D profile neck, and zero fret wear.   Action is at a perfect 4mm and 2.5mm and a 3.6 mm saddle height.  Freshly strung with Web Strings Medium Tension Santa Fe Classical strings.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
