Northwest Vintage Guitars is stoked to bring you a rare Yamaha model from their Research and Development department. The Pacifica PAC904 is made in Japan and factory spec'd USA Warmoth neck. 9.5" - 15.75" compound radius, satin finish, tilted headstock to eliminate string trees, and Sperzel locking tuners. The body is solid Alder with an Ash Cap and these tonewoods conbine to make something special.
It's a great neck. Not thin and generic, but a bit wider than most other Pacificas at 42mm. The neck has a chunkier C profile with medium shoulder. The action sets up low and fast with no issues. The truss rod works as it should and we are a fan of the heel adjustment with a cover ala Levinson. 6.29, 6.66. 12.5 ohms from neck to bridge and they all sound great.
These came in a few finishes, but this super thin satin finish almost looks like an oil finish. You get a 1V, 1T with a coil split on a 5 way. Comes safely packed in the original hardshell case in the photos. No Disappointments.
