Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a sweet and clean Yamaha SA60 from 1974 in perfect working order.  This version of Yamaha's Semi-Hollowbody Electrics have great sounding Humbuckers unlike the prior offerings.  These are rich and harmonic while still being warm and full.   The Nylon type saddles were fashionable in their day and they certainly have a tone all their own.  Very Cool.

Tonewoods include a Maple/Persimmon laminate top, back, and sides.   The highly figured maple neck is capped with a bound dark Rosewood fretboard, 22 Vintage spec frets, and smoky dark inlays.  It's a great look with the Jetson style knobs, leather clad tailpiece, and uber thick pickguard.

The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is 84"-.95", at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a comfy slim taper C typle profile. The frets are as low at around .028" but we crowned and polished them and they play like a "fretless wonder."   She's loaded with 10-46 nickel strings, polished frets, and perfect action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  Comes safely packed in the hard shell case in the photos.

There are small nicks, finish chips, faint worming and some scrapes and scuffs on the binding as pictured.
