Northwest Vintage Guitars brings you a very early SG700 with the original hardshell case.  We gave her a fret level, dress and polish so she plays like new with a fresh setup on nickel 10's.  These are the little sister of the the SG1000 and SG2000 and quite often are a better and lighter option to their option ladden siblings.

The pickups are the Yamaha GII pickups and they are clear and articulate with a great range and depth.  6.83 ohms at the neck, 6.74 at the bridge.  Very responsive and dynamic.  The neck is straight and the truss rod works as it should.  You get the push pull tone pots to tap the coils of the humbuckers, and all the controls work flawlessly.

The nut measures 1.725", it's a 24.75" scale, 12" radius,  fret depth is .83"-.97" on a C carve.  The back of the neck has been lightly sanded and feels smooth in the hand.  No cracks, no playability issues.  It's a solid mahogany body with a maple top.  9.79 lbs.  There are scattered nicks and dings primarily on the back and sides as pictured.   the output jack is non original.
