Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1977 Yamaha Studio Lord model SL430 in a killer Sunburst finish and a Vibrato! The Studio Lord is Yamaha's Les Paul single cut and they are built with top notch woods by skilled craftsmen. This one features a Mahogany body with a Chestnut cap that looks like a Norlin era Gibson. The add non-branded vibrato gives everything a little shimmer and a lot of steet cred.
The nut measures 1.71", .81"-1.0" neck depth on a chunky C profile. It's a bound Rosewood fretboard with 22 freshly polished frets and new USA made nickel 10-46 strings and perfect intonation. The non original bridge pickup reads 7.0 ohms and the original neck pickup at 11.5 ohms. 2V, 2T, and a 3 way toggle switch. 9.4 lbs, comes packed in the gig bag in the photos. The truss rod cover says SL800, but don't be fooled.
The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.
