Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a killer modded 1984 Yamaha SF3000 Super Flighter with a killer IBZ USA Humbucker added. This is Yamaha's Junior type entry into the market with a proprietary Tremolo unit. It's a solid Alder body and features a coil split. This one received a complete professional service in our luthier's shop including a fret level, dress and polish. The electronics have been cleaned, and the trem arm lock nut modified to rectify some previous malfeasance - it can now be easily removed and reattached.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .82"-.88" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium C profile. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the gig bag in the photos.
