Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean and vibey 1983 Yamaha Super R'n Roller Stratocaster model SR450S with a solid Ash body, the original case, and all the documents including the hang tags. These were Yamaha's Lawsuit era 50's Strat tribute of sorts. They feature Yamaha's proprietary Alnico single coils that deliver tons of vintage Strat tone. The neck and middle pickups read 5.18k ohms and the bridge reads 5.04k. There's a Maple neck and 21 frets that have been leveled, dressed and polished for a great playing experience. Comes packed in the original hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .82"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a vintage C profile that rivals the Strats of the day. 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.89 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio XL 10-46 nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Action is set at 4/64" and 3/64". There are a few scratches and polishing marks pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
