Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a killer Martin Copy in this Yamaki YW-40 with a solid Spruce top and Semi-solid Indian Rosewood back and sides.  Many folks know about the 70's Japanese Martin copies and how they can stand toe to toe with the real thing.  Yamaki's have a reputation of doind just that.  Superior materials and light bracing using Martin blueprints will yield a very Martin-like tone.   Throw in 50 years of drying and aging to the woods and nothing like it made today can stand a chance.  Known for it's boomy, warm, and sparkly tone.  25.4" scale, 16" radius, and only 4.6 lbs.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.

The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .87"-1.03" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a vintage Martin V neck profile. Freshly strung with Savarez 12-53 Bronze strings and factory spec action at 6/64"-3.5/64" and ample saddle height as pictured.  The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished.   It plays cleanly and clearly up and down the fretboard.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There are a few scratches and dings as pictured.   There is a binding repair as pictured - the binding is cracked in that area but everything is stable and it's difficult to see.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
