Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1 of 40 Limited Edition Fillmore USA Mosrite Urushi from 2005. These beauties feature the USA Epoxy back Mosrite pickups that all the copies try to emulate. It wears a Satin Black Nitro Lacquer finish, solid Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a dark and luxurious Rosewood fretboard. The frets are dressed and polished and it delivers that vintage Mosrite tone through the pickups that read 11.1 ohms at the neck and 11.4 at the bridge. Fat, full, and warm.
The nut measures 1.57", neck depth is .79"-.75" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the svelte C profile Mosrites are known for. 24.7" scale, 12" radius, 7.72 lbs. Strung with Ernie Ball 10-46 Slinky nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as well as a color fill or two as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original tolex case in the photos. One replaced pot.
