Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare Mosrite MK1 style Super Excellent "The Ventures Model" in Surf Green from the early 2000's made in Japan by Kurokumo. These are great reissues of the MK1 model and feature the much vaunted 1800 pickups that are clear and articulate reading 5.66k Ohms at the neck and 5.83k Ohms at the bridge. Underwound single coils that deliver a warm, clear and crisp tonality like a modern day boutique pickup. Combines them to give it a thick and chewy tone. Very versatile pickup combo controlled by a 3 way toggle, 1V, and 1T. And this one is like dead mint new old stock that was hung on a wall for decoration. We peeled the protecto plastic from the pickguard and gave her a thorough cleaning and polish. She's ready to go to town.
The zero nut measures 1.59", neck depth is .83"-.86" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the very consistent Mosrite C profile on a slim neck just like the old days. 25.5" Scale, 12" radius, 8.55 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio Nickel 10-46 strings. These left the factory with very square fret profiles so we took the liberty fo crown and polish them for a more refined playing experience. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Comes with the warranty tag, sticker, and hang tag in the photos all packed securely and fully insured in the Mosrite gig bag in the photos.
