Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a completely rebuilt and serviced mojo soaked Epiphone Triumph from 1945. This comes with the original case and dust cover as shown in the photos. If you are looking for that vintage archtop tone of a bygone era with all the mojo and soul one could muster, this is it. Most of these models suffer from a creeping neck angle and loose braces at the very least. We wouldn't have that. Our Master Luthier performed a neck reset, 4 top crack repairs with cleats, new binding on the top, a fretboard leveling, refret, level crown and polish, repaired a heel crack, and replaced kerfing that had suffered moisture damage. The bridge has been fitted, the saddle refined, and a new nut was hand crafted. His expertise shines through when you play it. It's an 80 year old relic that plays like it's new and sounds like a million bucks.
The nut measures 1.65", neck depth is .93"-1.25" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a bold soft V profile that feels 80 years old. 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 5.8 lbs. Freshly strung with 11-50 Nickel Flat Wounds. The neck is straight, the truss rod it tight but turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a quite few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. The original hard case has 4 working latches and one working hinge. The dust cover is in remarkable condition. We believe the pickguard is not original.
