Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean and cool 2002 G&L LEGACY USA designed by Leo Fender and made in Fullerton California. This is Leos' final word on the Stratocaster and it's amazing. Silky smooth 2 point trem, quiet and expressive single coils, and a perfect sunburst finish. The pickups read 6.9k ohms and deliver tons of sweet Strat tones. We've given it the attention it deserves with a full deep cleaning, a fret level, crown and polish, and a pro setup. It only needs a new home.
The nut measures 1.64", neck depth is .82"-.92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a nice take on the pre-CBS neck profiles that existed when Leo sold Fender. 25.5" scale, 10"-12" compound radius, 8.1 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Ernie Ball 10-46 nickel strings and low action at 1.7 mm and 1.5 mm. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Own a piece of history. Comes safely packed in the oversized padded gig bag in the photos.
