Northwest Vintage Guitars presents an early spec Gretsch Corvette with a fresh refret and a whole life ahead of her.  She's quite svelte at only 6.1 lbs and the long upper horn ensure a properly balanced guitar.  The Trapeze and grooved bar bridge are original kit from the Corvette's introduction.  Things went downhill from there as they tried an array of Tremolo contraptions with some predictable results.  This is the one you want - like a junior but lighter and way more stylish.  The pots are 2018 CTS and feature a treble bleed, the pickup is the original HiLo Tron.  And we gave her a fresh refret with 6105 Nickel frets that measure .092" wide.

The neck profile is an amazing full C that fills the hand comfortably and feels like a vintage carve.  The nut measures 1.75", neck depth is .92"-.99" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  It measured a 20" radius when we got her, and we refretted to match.  It's a great playing experience on new frets and fresh electronics.  It wears an incredible authentic patina and some of the loose lacquer has been shored up with CA glue.  There are a lot a scratches, dings, and dents as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.

There's some enlarging of the pickup route as pictured.  There's a reset neck joint that shows no outward sign of a break and a fretboard separation repair in that area.  A dowel or strap pin fill is pictured.
