Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare and uber cool 1975 Yamaha FG300J Black Label Dreadnought Made in Japan at the Hamamatsu factory. These MIJ Black Labels are very rare and seldom seen here in the states since they were primarily made for the Japanese Domestic market. They are all top grade laminate construction with bound real Rosewood fretboards, a Spruce top, and Rosewood Back and sides. Very little fret wear and a joy to play with a bold signature Yamaha sound.
The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .93"-1.05" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a chunky C carve not unlike a 50's Gibson. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. No humps or wonkiness to the neck. Action is at 3.0mm on the low E and 2.4mm on the high E. The bridge has been notched to increase breakover angle as pictured.
All our guitars are deep cleaned and receive a professional service and setup. You will not get a filthy guitar from us. There are scattered nicks, dings and scratches as pictured but remains in great playable condition. Comes safely packed in the hard case in the photos.
