Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean Tokai Cat's Eyes CE50 with D28 style herringbone purfling and X-bracing. It's in fantastic shape and very playable with low action and a proud saddle and excellent breakover. This MIK Dreadnought features all laminate construction with premium figured sides and back. Truly unique.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .90"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Almost no playwear. Plenty of saddle height to go as low as you'd like. Plays nicely with a prominent and clear tonality.
There are scattered polishing marks and an area of damage on the lower bout that's been repaired but still shows leveling scratches as pictured.
