Northwest Vintage Guitars is proud to bring you a lovely Greco EG 700 Les Paul Standard style single cut with the U2000 Prototype pick ups. First off - these pickups are amazing. They have great unpotted PAF tonality that would have everyone believeing they are Gibson pickups. These were manufactured at the Shokai Kanda Plant where the Ibanez LP copies of this time we made. Solid maple plain top, mahogany body, and the small open book headstock we've grown to know and love.
It's your typical Slim taper 60s neck carve. Plenty of life left in the frets and a wonderful patina on this Player grade instrument. The pick up surrounds are not original, three-way switch has been replaced, and brand new Grover tuners were added. Somewhere along the line someone remove the pick up covers and we love the look. 9.4 pounds and it comes safely packed in the gig bag in the photos. The truss rod works as it should, the nut is a custom-made version that fits a Gibson sized wrench. These are typically metric and nobody has that size wrench, including us. The pick up sounds fantastic, and it feels just like a Gibson. We would put this in the same category as perhaps a Les Paul classic. The bridge, tailpiece, Grover tuners, and pickup surrounds are new.
