Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Greco EG-500 in lovely Sunburst and featuring the U1000 Maxon pickups. It's a great sounding and playing guitar that received a full pro setup in our shop. These early Grecos are known for their great tone and chambered body that yields a lightweight and resonant guitar. They feature a White Sycamore top and a pancake Asian Mahogany body. Great tone, excellent playability.
The nut measures 1.72", neck depth is .85"-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium C carve that feels like a 70's Gibson profile. 24.7" scale, 16" radius, 8.6 lbs. It has no playability issues. The frets are leveled, dressed, and polished to perfection. There's a fresh set of Fender Super 250s that are perfectly intonated. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are very few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the period correct hard case in the photos.
