Northwest Vintage Guitars proudly presents an all solid wood Yamaha N1000 with solid "Jacaranda" sides and back. Jacaranda is a German word that refers to the Dalbergia Species of Rosewoods. And it's all solid. One piece Mahogany neck, bound ebony fretboard, and a whimsical mustache bridge. The Mustache theme continues up the neck with the pearloid inlays. And we love the stylish Oscar Scmidt style pickguard. She comes pre-loaded with a classic LR Baggs soundhole pickup and everything is in order there.
The nut measures 1.74", neck depth is .91"-1.05" on slightly chunky C profile, The Ebony bridge. Rosewood bridge plate, and bone pins help translate all the vibrations to the top. It's bold and clear with an overall warmth that's so alluring. There 19 freshly polished frets that play cleanly up and down the fretboard with no dead spots and no unwarranted buzzing. It's a pleasure to play. The action is 2.75mm on the low E and 2.25mm on the high E with 3mm saddle heighth. Plenty of room to lower if needed but plays cleanly with no issues where it's at. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.
