Yamaha pulled out all the stops and even gave it a unique cut corner headstock so you know exactly what it is if you know what is. Yamaha always forged their own path with their acoustic guitars. Their construction and shapes are always unique and not just another X-braced MIJ Martin copy. This one is a slope shouldered OM style that's unique to Yamaha. And let's just say it's an amazing guitar with a rich harmonic palette and an overall warm and even tonality.
And the action is great ar 2.6 mm on the low E, 2.4 on the high E with plenty of saddle height. The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .83"-.95" on tapered C profile. No cracks, breaks or repairs and the freshly polished frets are in great shape exhibiting very little wear. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hardshell case in the photos. No diappointments.
