Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a lightweight Fender Japan Jazzmaster JM-66 Reissue with a 2 piece Alder body. We love the dark tortoise guard with the deep 3 tone sunburst. It's a classic look. And a 7.7 lb offset is on the rarer side. You get the Japan Vintage Jazzmaster single coil Pickups, the traditional Jazzmaster control layout with a Rhythm section, and that same silky smooth and dreamy Tremolo these offsets are known for. The saddles have been swapped out for some classy brass numbers with height adjusters - a convenient feature that the originals lack.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .86"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. This medium C profile is very similar to mid 60's Fenders and not thin. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are scattered faint scratches, dings and small dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with only scant wear on freshly polished frets.
