Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Fender Competition Mustang Reissue model MG69 in Candy Apple Red and featuring a cool Seymour Duncan pickup upgrade. We love the Mustang, but the pickups tend to be a bit meh. This one has been smartly upgraded to a pair of DiMarzios that wake it up nicely. The DP103 36th Anniversary Humbucker in the neck position reads 8.3k ohms and the FS-1 bridge reads 13.27k ohms. That's correct, the bridge single coil is a hot one.
The nut measures 1.60", neck depth is .81"-.93" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's an oval C slim carve. 24" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.25 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Ernie Ball 10-46 Nickel Slinkys. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed in teh gig bag in the photos.
