Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare one year only Ibanez S540QS Made in Japan by Fujigen in 1998 and sold exclusively in the Japanese domestic market.  These rarities feature a Solid Mahogany body and a striking quilted Sapele top.  This one has a serious upgrade in a pair of Seymour Duncan JB humbuckers to mate with the Ibanez QMS1 single coil in the middle.  These JBs are some of the best humbuckers Seymour ever made and read in the 8.1k ohm range while the QMS1 dials in at 9.15k.   Great tone and very complimentary.  25.5" scale, 16" radius, and 7.57 lbs.   Comes safely packed and fully insured in the padded gig bag in the photos.  

The nut measures 1.71", neck depth is .64"-.74" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  This is the Japanese spec Super Wizard neck profile.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'adarrio XL 10-46 nickel strings and low action at 1.5mm-1.0mm.  The frets have been leveled, crowned, and polished.  It received a pro setup and deep cleaning.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There are a coupe scratches and dings as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.  The trem arm is black Ibanez replacement.
