These Edwards offerings feature a thin lacquer finish, a solid Mahogany center block, and exacting specifications that compare very favorably to instruments costing twice as much. The 13.81k ohm SH14 Alnico 5 Bridge pickup covers all the bases with a slightly scooped midrange while the 7.25k SH2 Alnico 5 neck pickup anchors down the vintage PAF tone. 24.75" scale, 10" radius, 7.85 lbs. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.73", neck depth is .91"-1.02" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very familiar C profile that ESP is known for. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario 10-46 XL nickel strings and factory spec 4-64"-3/64" action. The frets are level and polished and exhibit no fret wear. the fretboard is clean and conditioned. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few polishiong marks. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
