Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare Epiphone Rivoli Reissue in 3 Tone Sunburst and featuring a Gotoh Mudbucker with the Transducer. The pickup is a low ohm replacement that gives a lot of clarity to the Mudbucker. Like the earlier Gibson EB series, the transducer switch activates an onboard circuit that make the Mudbucker less muddy and gives it a little attitude with hair on it. Pretty versatile. 30.25" scale, 16" radius, 8.8 lbs. The pickup reads a little under 2k ohms and is a lot better than the stock Epiphone pickups we've experienced. Made in the Peerless factory in Korea and supervised by Epiphone's Japan engineers, these have become well know for their quality construction and excellent value. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original Epiphone case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.50", neck depth is .91"-.99" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a real vintage feeling U profile. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with LaBella Flatwound Stainless strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets have been leveled and polished. One latch on the case has lost it's spring. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. There is a professional neck heel reapair with finish fills as pictured. It's solid and ready to rock. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
