Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a 1 of 100 Fender American Vintage II Limited Edition Telecaster Black and Gold. There were only 100 made in 2004 and this one is in great shape. These feature the new American Vintage Single Coil pickups that give you all the Tele twang and spank you could want. The neck reads 9.26k ohms and the staggered pole bridge reads 6.95k. 1 Volume, 1Tone, and a 3 way blade switch keep everything under control. It's a solid Ash Body and a maple neck and fretboard. There's no appreciable wear on the clean and polished frets. 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 8.3 lbs. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the tweed Fender hard case in the photos and includes the polishing cloth and strap in the photos. Not much keeping it from mint condition.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .85"-.93" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great medium C profile a lot like a mid 60's neck. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario 10-46 XL Nickel strings. Action is below factory spec at 1.5mm and will buzz when played hard. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and polishing markds as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots. The white pickguard is not original, the rest of the guitar is original.
