Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a vintage Fender Japan Partscaster with a Lacquer ST54 Export Alder body, a 1991 ST57 neck, and USA pickups. It's a killer mashup of Fender Japan products presented in a G&G Tolex case. The pickups are the USA Vintage spec Alnicos that read 5.95, 5.96, and 6.06 k ohms from neck to bridge and deliver tons of Strat chime and spank. Really great sounding pickups in a resonant solid Alder Export body. 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.7 lbs. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the G&G tolex case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.675", neck depth is .83"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a comfy medium C profile that feels like a vintage Strat. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Ernie Ball 10-46 nickel strings and factory speck 1.8mm-1,4mm action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets are in great shape with very little wear. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
