Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super rare and cool 2012 Fender Jazz Bass Limited Edition Silver Sparkle model JB62FCH SLV. This is reportedly 1 of only 30 units (or perhaps even less) made in 2012 and features the Babicz bridge, an Alder body, a Rosewood fretboard with block inlays, and an aged Silver Sparkle finish. The pickups are JB Modern voiced with a forthright spank and growl. The neck reads 7.25k ohms, the bridge is 8.32k.
The nut measures 1.50", neck depth is .83"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very familiar oval C profile that most folks will recognize. 34" scale, 7.25" radius, 9.83 lbs. Freshly strung with 45-105 Nickel round wound strings and action at 2.2-1.9mm. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are very few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. the back of the neck is free from damage, the frets have been leveled, crowned, and polished. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the Fender gig bag in the photos.
