Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Gibson Custom Shop 1964 ES335 Reissue from the Gibson Repair and Restoration via the Demo Shop. This was sourced by an ex Gibson employee at the Repair and Restoration Department. It was at the Demo Shop coming from the Gibson Custom Shop. There are no repairs or issues. And it featured a killer set of hand wound Custom Buckers that sound amazing. This Custom Shop Reissue 335 features a Maple/Poplar/Maple body, a one piece Honduran Mahogany neck, and a Rosewood fretboard. It's been very well maintained and remains in Excellent condition.
The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .88"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It has the perfect 60's Gibson medium C profile that feels like a much older instrument. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. 24.5" scale, 12" Radius, 7.8 lbs. the Custom Buckers measure 8.1k Ohms at the neck and 7.8 ohms at the bridge. You get pure vintage tone with warm trebles and a full woody tonality. Really hard to beat. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Includes the 60's Yellow Plush lined Custom Shop case and the certificate in the photos.
