Yamano was Gibson's biggest distributor and had preferential treatment as they were able to spec high end and custom orders from Gibson during the good wood era. These beauties feature the 501T and 496R pickups that deliver hot PAF tones for days. The neck reads 8.6k ohms and sounds like a hot Humbucker PAF while the neck dials in at a scorching 14.9k ohms and has sustain and expressiveness. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the Gibson Taco padded gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .83"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a comfy sleek C carve. 24.75" scale, 10" radius, 7.1lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D"Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished for a great playing experience. Professionally set up here in our shop with low 1.5mm-1.0mm action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. Weather checking throughout. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
