Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a weather checked and patined Gibson J-160E with the Vintage Sunburst nitro finish all checked up and looking like a million bucks. Our Luthier removed the back to reattach all the back and top braces, replaced the binding and refinished the sides and back. He also fashioned a new bridge, performed an expert neck reset, crafted a new saddle and gave it a pro setup. It plays like butter on factory spec 5/64"-4/64" action. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 4.68 lbs. It features the original P-100 pickup for P90 tones without the hum and buzz. Comes safely packed in the hard case in the photos.
The nut measures1.75", neck depth is .85"-1.0" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a killer soft V profile that feels vintage. Freshly strung with 12-53 D'Addario Bronce strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets have been leveled, dressed, and polished. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured, but it's as solid as a rock. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
