Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a killer Greco 70's style Les Paul model EG-1000C in perfect Cherry Sunburst in the fashion of the 70's Gibsons. You get the sandwich Mahogany body, the carved Maple top cap, and a Maple neck just like the Gibsons of the day. The fretboard looks like Jacaranda to us. It's a very resonant and uncanny Gibson-esque Les Paul. The Maxon U-3000 pickups deliver that signature Les Paul tone reading 7.60k ohms at the neck and 10.1k ohms at the bridge. It's a powerful combo.
The nut measures 1.725", neck depth is .85"-1.05" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very familiar Norlin-like C profile that most folks will recognize. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 8.8 lbs. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished. They do have a little wear, but play cleanly now. Pro setup. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario XL 10-46 nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the high quality heavily padded gig bag in the photos.
