These are fantastic renditions of Gibson's venerable 1957 Black Beauty with a solid Mahogany body, a one piece Mahogany neck, and great PAF style humbuckers that read 7.5 and 7.45 ohms. They sound fantastic with nice PAF tonality and depth. This is a Korea built instrument and it features a long neck tenon, multi-circular control cavity routing with shielding paint, Jung Poong potentiometers, and no serial number.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .89"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. The neck profile is a Medium C that feels great in the hand and has scant shoulders for excellent accessibility. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
