Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean 1986 Greco FA67-70 ES175 Type Hollow Body made in Japan by Fujigen. These high quality instruments are well known but very rare and feature a Laminated Maple top, Mahogany back and sides and a Mahogany neck. The U1000 Humbuckers are faithful representatives of the PAF tone with plenty of open and articulate highs, a forthright midrange and a smooth low end. They can really open up for some grit and growl too. The neck reads 7.38k ohms, the bridge dials in at 7.47k. All original electronics and hardware. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 6.98 lbs. It's an impressive instrument that comes safely packed and fully insured in the hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.72", neck depth is .75"-.87" at the 1st and 10th frets respectively. It's a slim taper C profile that starts out quite svelve and grows to a comfy medium C. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Stainless American made Flatwould 11-50 strings and low 1.7mm-1.2mm action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets are clean, level, and polished and the fretboard is cleaned and conditioned. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
