Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Greco Jeff Beck Stratocaster model SE600J with Maxon PU-S8 single coils wired to individual On/Off/Phase switched, a master volume, and a master tone. The pickups are great. You've probably heard about these early black bobbin Maxon single coils and they live up to the hype and more. Dare we say more Strat-like than Fender was making at the time? We dare. 5.99k ohms at the neck, 5.66 middle, and 5.71k ohms at the bridge.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .90"-1.02" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a full C profile that feels like a 50's neck. 25.5" scale, 9.5" radius, 8.16 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio XL 10-46 nickel strings. It's an Ash body, a Maple neck and a slab Rosewood fretboard. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. There is a body crack or seam separation as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.
