Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a great Black Beauty by Greco in 1974. These Lawsuit Era Gems feature Maxon Humbucking pickups that really steal the show. These unpotted PAF style pickups are an incredible recreation of Gibson's 50's PAFs with a deep tonality and a "woody" depth. We love 'em.
The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .87"-.96" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a full C very much like a late '59 or early '60 LP. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The fretboard has been cleaned, oiled, and hand polished. The frets have about 70% remaining and have been polished to offer a great playing experience. No dead spots, no unwarranted buzzing. 9.2 lbs, comes safely packed in the repaired and padded Oggio gig bag.
The Mojo and Patina is off the charts. There are nick, dents, scratches, cracks, and other finish imperfections as pictured. The Tarnished and worn pickup covers, bridge, and tuner add to the vintage appeal. There is a replaced non-original saddle and set screw on the High E that has to be manually adjusted. The tailpiece and bridge posts are non original MIJ replacements.
