Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean 1981 Greco EG59-70 with a pair of the Dry pickups. These Les Pauls are some of the best Japan has to offer on the used market and a great value. The Pickups are the Fujigen made unmarked Dry Pickups that read 7.7k ohms at the neck and 7.5k ohms at the bridge. Killer PAF tone from these pickups with a pronounced deep mid spectrum, warm highs and an articulate bottom end.
The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .86-1.00" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a very unique soft V carve that transitions to a C up in the dusty area. 24.75" scale, 10" radius, 9.7 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings and low 1.5mm-1.0mm action. The frets show very very little fretwear with no divots and a fresh polish. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are very few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed in the padded gig bag in the photos.
