Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare and super clean 1976 Greco Les Paul Super Power model EG800B Solid body with the much vaunted U4000 Maxon pickups. These pickups steal the show with the neck reading 7.81k ohms and the bridge at 7.67k ohms. They are identical in material and construction to the Ibanez Super 70 Humbucker that has a faithful following. Go ahead and Google up these U4000's and read all the glowing reviews and recommendations. They kick ass.
The nut measures 1.73", neck depth is .86"-.92" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium C profile that everyone finds agreeable. 24.75" scale, 10" radius, 9.5 lbs. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished for a great playing experience. Freshly strung with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. The Grover tuners are not original, the bridge pickup bezel is a Gibson M69, the ABR style bridge is a period correct Japan made replacement, and the pickguard bracket is not original. There is a seam separation on the back of the solid body as pictured.
