Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean and rare Greco EB720 with a Mahogany body, Maxon Pickups, and the original hard case with candy. The end of the Matsumoku period for Greco brought some great models like this one. It features Maxon pickups - the Maxon Mudbucker is a killer single coil that reads 9.95k ohms and the bridge is 5.45k ohms. 2V, 2T, and a 3 way toggle keep it all in check. Great SG style bass at a bargain of a price.
The nut measures 1.7", neck depth is .87"-.94" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a medium C carve that feels great in the hand. 33.5" scale, 12" radius, 8.6 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with Aria Pro Custom Shop nickel 45-105 strings. The frets have been leveled, crowned, and polished. The neck is straight, the truss rod is near maxed, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with limited buzzing up above the 15th fret on the D and G strings. Action is set at 2.25mm and 1.85mm. Comes safely packed in the hard case in the photos with a Greco tool bag and polishing cloth.
