Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a rare find in this clean 1976 Guild CE-100D Hollow Body Humbucker "Capri". These golden offerings from Guild have a little over a 16" lower bout and about 3.5" at the end block. It's a nice compact alternative. The dual Guild LB-1 "Little Bucker" Humbuckers deliver plenty of vintage warm tone with lots of character. They measure 7.30k ohms at the neck and 7.11k ohms at the bridge. We have it set up with half rounds and low factory spec 4/64"-3/64" action. 25.25" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.50 lbs. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the non-original Guild branded hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.66", neck depth is .85"-.98" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's advertised as a D profile, but there's a soft V there in the lower registers. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario XL Half Rounds 12-52 nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings and a stand burn as pictured. There is a section of binding that's been replaced as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots and very limited buzzing if you play hard.
