Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean Guild D-40 NT Special Dreadnought in the original hard case and a ton of documents. This one has a great neck set and plays great with excellent action and great saddle height. These feature a premium solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Mahogany back and sides, and scalloped Adirondack Spruce bracing. Known as the "Bluegrass Jubilee," this one has a bold voice that projects very well with a defined low end and great balance. One of the best sounding Guilds we've experienced. New bone nut and saddle from our luthier. 25 5/8" scale, 12" radius, 5.45 lbs. And it comes safely packed and fully insured in the original hard case with all the case goodies in the photos.
The nut measures 1 11/16", neck depth is .85"-1.06" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a full C profile that feels great in the hand. Freshly strung with D'Addario 12-53 Bronze strings and great action at factory spec 5/64"-4/64". Ample saddle height and great breakover ange. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. There are some color fills and dings on the back of the neck from a capo as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
