Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean and ready to gig 1959 Harmony H65 Hollow Body Natural that received a neck reset, fret level and dress, and a full setup from our in house luthier. These were advertised as the "Modern Trend" model and featured a dual action truss rod and a "Slim Line" neck which were a departure from the previous baseball bats. They feature the Gibson P13 single coil pickup that was the predecessor to the P90 and Harmony aquired them in the 40's. This one reads 8.87k ohms and is forthright, deep, and ballsy. 24" scale, 12" radius, 6.07 lbs. All original. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the lightweight hard case in the photos.
The nut measures 1.77", neck depth is .86"-.95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great medium C 50's profile that isn't a baseball bat. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with 11-50 nickel round wounds and factory spec 4/64"-3/64" action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Looks like a Brazilian fretboard to us. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
