Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Steinberger Licensed Hohner B2A headless bass in 100% original condition and including the original faux leather gig bag that looks like a gun scabbard. These compact and minimalist basses were a staple among 80's clubsters. The SE-HB pickups deliver a clear, warm and almost compressed tone that's smooth and easy. 34.5" scale, 9.5" radius, 6.70 lbs. Maple body, Maple neck, Rosewood fretboard. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the gig bag in the photos.
The nut measures 1.5", neck depth is .92"-1.01" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great full C that's not unruly. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with DR Strings Black Beauties 45-105 and factory spec 2.0mm-1.8mm action. The frets are level and polished, the fretboard is clean and conditioned. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. It does exhibit very light buzzing in the lower register if you get heavy handed - plays cleanly otherwise. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
