Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a clean Mosrite of California "The Ventures Model" 1965 Reissue with the 1800 pickups and the original Mosrite branded hard case. We gave this a deep cleaning, a full level, crown and polish, and a professional setup for a flawless playing experience. It has the vaunted 1800 pickups that are articulate and clear while being full spectrum and warm. Together they obtain a thick "chewyness" that's very satisfying. The neck reads 6.63k ohms, and the bridge dials in at 6,56k ohms for an underwound boutique charm. Also features the Moseley vibrato and vintage Kluson style tuners.
The nut measures 1.6", neck depth is .81"-.87" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a slim C profile that Mosrite fans love. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, 8.1 lbs. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Adarrio 10-46 nickel strings. Mosrites come from the factory with a square fret profile, but we took the time to crown and polish these for a much better playing experience on low 1.6 and 1.3 mm action. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original Mosrite branded hard case in the photos.
