Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean early Kurukomo production Mosrite "The Ventures" model VMG-700 in perfect working order and 100% original. These early Kurokomo made Mosrites are some of the best vintage Mosrites available with faithful specs and authentic tone. It features the Moseley Vibrato mounted to a solid Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a dark Rosewood fretboard with the diminutive dot inlays. Plays cleanly and easily on low action.
The nut measures 1.62", neck depth is .83"-.90" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the svelte Mosrite C profile. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. The frets are leveled, dressed and polished. 24.75" Scale, 10" Radius, 8.5 lbs. Action is set at 4/64"-3/64". The pickups read 10.3 ohms at the neck, 10.1 at the bridge and deliver that signature Mosrite tone. There are a few faint scratches, small dings, and a couple color fills as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed in the well worn padded Ritter gig bag in the photos.
