Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a killer clean 1992 Orville by Gibson Les Paul Standard with a Flame Maple top and USA TM40 PAF style pickups that sound incredible. These Gibson licensed, Fujigen crafted are the stuff of legend with all high quality materials, expert craftsmanship, and Gibson specs all the way around. And the Gibson pickups deliver both PAF tones, and high output warmth and drive. The neck pickup reads 12.8 ohms, the bridge reads 7.7 ohms. It yields a clean and clear center toggle position at 6.8 ohms. Solid Mahogany back, 2 piece carved Maple top, and a one piece Mahogany neck - just like the big boys.
The nut measures 1.70", neck depth is .83"-.97" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a great medium C carve. 24.75" scale, 12" radius, and only 8.7 lbs. Our luthier replaced the fretboard inlays with high quality pearloid material, the frets have been leveled, crowned and dressed to perfection for an effortless playing experience on 2/64" action. It has accurate intonation with a set of Ernie Ball 10-46 Nickel Slinkys. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. No pick guard. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the Gibson Custom case in the photos.
